Your child's safety is very important to us. Every weekend, your child is assigned a random three-digit alpha-numeric code on their name tag and your security receipt that you will use to pick-up your child from kidcity. Should we need you during the service, we will send you a quick text message!

Each weekend, your kids are joined by amazing volunteers that love God and want to hang out with your kiddos. Each volunteer has met with a staff member, gone through training, and is screened with a background check.

Our next Child Dedication Weekend is Sunday, October 13th
Christ Community Church believes that children are a gift from God. Child dedication is a wonderful tradition where we get to recognize and celebrate parents publicly declaring their commitment to teach their kids the importance of a relationship with Jesus Christ. If this is something you are interested in being a part of in the future and you have never dedicated before, we invite you to our child dedication class. Attending this class is the required first step in dedicating your child at CCC. This class will explain why we do child dedication, the importance of our role as parents, point you to some resources, answer any questions you may have, and get to know you if we haven’t met yet. Get more information and sign up for this class at the link below.

EXPECTATIONS OF PARENTS:

  • At least one or both of the parents have made a commitment to having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We recognize that there are many families in which only one parent has come to faith and the spouse that is not yet a believer would like to participate—that is okay.
  • Parent(s) align with Christ Community’s beliefs and values.
  • Parents commit to modeling personal purity and to lead by example in matters of faith and conduct. That means living a life of sexual purity according to God's standards—avoiding pre-marital sexual relations and living together before marriage. Therefore, parents that are living together and are not married cannot participate in the dedication ceremony.

Two Years - Five Years Old

Kids participate in a Bible Story, worship songs, coloring and/or craft, and get their wiggles out in the gym as they play on slides and climbing toys. Our curriculum, First Look, is based on one of three simple, but powerful, truths. The entire curriculum is constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths.

-God Made Me

-God Loves Me

-Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever

Early Childhood Series - Let's Fly
Think about all of the places you go: home, school, the grocery store, the soccer field, the top of a mountain, thedeep blue ocean. God is with you wherever you go. God is always with you, and we want our preschoolers to know that no matter where they go, God will be with them, too.

Elementary (K-3rd Grade)

K-3rd Weekend Series

“Mad Props” is an off-the-wall prop-filled adventure through the story of the Israelites’ exodus from Egypt. There’s just one problem. The story props have gone totally, completely, 100% mad! They’re all mixed up and hidden in one of 4 different prop boxes. Throughout the story, kids will get to vote for one of the boxes. Whatever silly prop is inside will then be used to help tell the story. Through it all, kids will see how God did some of the most out-of-this-world, amazing things you could ever imagine through a man named Moses.

Preteen (4th-5th Grade)

Our 4th and 5th graders meet in the Warehouse (Student Center) located at the back of the gym. They spend time hanging out playing carpet ball, foosball, and other fun games, and then experience worship, a large group lesson, and small group time. We want kids to build relationships with God and with friends.  This program is geared towards their age group as students learn how to grow their faith, be more confident, and become disciples of Jesus.  Some of the topics we’ll cover this year include friendships, worship, attributes of God, and more!  See our current series below.  Come hang out with us this weekend – you won’t want to miss it!

Preteen (4th-5th) Series - Spirit Froot

This month, we’ll help preteens to understand the difference between works of the Holy Spirit and works of the flesh that just look good (FROOT). The cereal-themed series will guide your preteen into a deeper understanding of how they can produce fruit that only comes about by abiding in God. All month, we'll be challenging preteens to do what God does, to look beyond the outward appearance, and to think about what's going on inside their hearts and minds.
